It was a disappointing night for the Ashfield teams in Round 2 of 4NCL on-line. However the matches were far from being one-sided. Several of the games went down to interesting endings where a couple of slips meant that half points were lost in games that should have ended rather differently. Only two games were won and three drawn overall – all of them are well worth a look with some instructive theory in a couple. This means that “A” are still to open their Division One account whilst the two lower teams sit in mid-table on 50%.
